Rob Sand was born and raised in Decorah, Iowa. As Iowa’s chief public corruption prosecutor, he held scammers, taxpayer abusers, violent criminals, and crooked politicians in both parties accountable — even uncovering the largest lottery rigging scheme in American history. As Iowa’s State Auditor, he uncovered tens of millions of dollars in misspent money and uncovered more waste, fraud, and abuse in a single term than any other Auditor in state history. Now, after serving two terms as State Auditor, Rob is running for governor to root out corruption, strengthen the economy, protect public schools, and help Iowans live better, healthier lives.
