Meet our Keynote Volleyball Awards Banquet Speaker...

I studied at the University of Kentucky where I majored in Broadcast Journalism and minored in Political Science. There, I competed for the school's Division 1 gymnastics team for four years.

Although I received my education from the Bluegrass state, my roots go back to Southern California. Ever since I was five years old, I've always said I wanted to be the anchor for the TODAY Show one day. Now being here and working for KWWL, I feel like I'm getting closer to achieving my dream.

For most of my life, you could find me in the gym. But when I went to UK, you could always find me in our school's student news station. My days were longer compared to the average student. While reporting, I always had to be mindful of my gymnastics schedule and prepare my stories around the sport. Now that I'm at KWWL, I can solely focus on my love for journalism, and it's a dream come true!

I was very involved in our school's news station, UK Student News Network. I've reported all sorts of stories, from the 2019 Gubernatorial Election to Kentucky's Hepatitis A outbreak. I also spent time interning at our local station, WKYT, where I've helped cover and shoot various stories around Lexington.

Outside of journalism, I love playing with my sweet dog, as well as spend time with family and friends. The beach is my favorite place in the whole world, and I'm a huge foodie.
