Hands Out
Three
Scholarships
The three winners of the Fred Adams Scholarships were introduced last week and presented with certificates showing that they will each receive a $1,000 scholarship credit from our club. The three are:
Willie Timm, a student at
Andrew
Maske, a student at the
Dajana
Sabic, student at the
Money for the awards comes from a fund in the Community Foundation created to remember 70-year member Fred Adams and from money collected monthly at the birthday table. Initially the awards were $600 each, but the fund has grown and so have the scholarships.
Additional
gifts would allow the foundation to expand its support of youth
activities in

Rotary

Rotary was
founded 102 years ago on the premise of
fellowship and that concept has exploded in recent years with more than
100
unique groups from vocations to avocations, sports to hobbies and
professional
interests.
There
are even groups for doll lovers and Rotarians who collect license
plates. We
believe that our club has never had a member of a Rotary Fellowship.
