missed several great presentations.

Iowa
State Athletic Director Jamie Pollard played a short
video of women’s basketball coach speaking to his team after it lost
its
second-round game last spring in the NCAA tourney, proving there’s more
to
sport than winning.

The
World Needs
Your
Expertise
You probably know a doctor or dentist
who has
traveled to a third-world country to donate his or her talents. But
Rotary is
looking for people with a wide range of talents to make a difference
somewhere
in the world.
City planners, construction engineers,
managers,
designers, architect- -they all have talents which can make a
difference to a
village somewhere.
International Rotary volunteers register their skills with RI to serve outside their home country. As ambassadors for Rotary, they foster international understanding
and
goodwill, are expected to be flexible and culturally sensitive, and
must
maintain standards
of behavior that reflect positively on their home country and uphold the
ideals
of Rotary.
To register, complete the Rotary
Volunteers International Volunteer Registration Form available
at www.rotary.org.
or from RI world headquarters.
